Eclipse Baseball Club
The
Northville Eclipse Baseball Club is an adult "vintage" ball club and
social group. If you are interested in the Victorian history of
Northville and would like to help recreate the gentler, leisure times of
Victorian society of the late 1860s, please consider joining the
Eclipse. There is a need for spectators in period costume,
umpires, tally-keepers and of course, ball players. Club members
play (and behave) according to period baseball rules and manners,
recreating an atmosphere that is family friendly and lots of fun.
Home matches are held at Ford Field, next to historic Mill Race
Village. Away matches are scheduled throughout Michigan and the
Midwest at historic venues or local historic festivals. General
club meetings are held at the Cady Inn of Mill Race Village throughout
the season.
