Lacrosse
Northville Parks and Recreation Lacrosse is a
well respected program around the state. Our travel teams offer great
competition and coaching. We stress good sportsmanship and technique.
Whether you are new to the sport or an experienced player we have a
program for you! Come join the fun and learn the game of Lacrosse. All
lacrosse practices and home games will be held at Northville Community
Park.

Boys and Girls End of Summer Lacrosse Camps 3rd - 8th Grade
Boys 2nd-8th grade and Girls 5th -8th grade
All skill levels are invited to attend. Players will be divided by
age and skill level. Coaches will have drills, conditioning and games
daily.
Equipment required:
- Experienced boy players: Lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves,
shoulder/elbow pads, athletic cup, mouth guard and athletic shoes.
- Boy Beginners: Lacrosse stick, athletic cup and mouth guard,
helmet if you have one.
- Girls: lacrosse stick, mouth guard, and protective eye wear if you
have it.
Join the class/grade for the 2010-2011 school year.
Coaches: Coach Stacey Tardich will lead the girls camp. Coach John
Alexander will lead the boys camp.

FALL LACROSSE CLINIC FOR BOYS 3rd-8th AND GIRLS 5th-8th
This four day clinic is for boys and girls of all skill levels. Join
the fun and play the exciting game of lacrosse! New players will learn
the basic skills of lacrosse. Returning players will work on advanced
skills and strategy. Players will be grouped by age and ability. Held at
Northville Community Park Field #10.
Coaches: Stacey Tardich will lead the girls clinic. John Alexander
will lead the boys clinic.
Equipment required:
- Girls and new boy players: Lacrosse stick, mouth guard and
athletic cup for boys
- Experienced boys: Lacrosse stick, mouth guard, helmet, athletic
cup, lax gloves and lax pads

Advanced Lacrosse Boys 7 v 7 Inter Team play
This program is for returning 5/6 and 7/8 travel team players only.
This is a fun and fast paced game. 4 practices in Oct-Nov. Coaches will
work with the players on advanced skills and will set up weekly
competitive play based on the number of participants. US Lacrosse has a
7v7 tournament, Nov 6 &7 at Northville Community Park. We encourage all
participants to form a team and register for the tournament. Tournament
cost is not included in the fee. Our travel team coaches: Mark Dizik,
Josh Simmons and John Alexander, will lead this program held at
Northville Community Park #10.
Equipment Required: Shoulder/elbow pads, lacrosse stick, lacrosse
gloves, mouth guard, athletic cup, cleats and helmet. Bring your team
jersey.
