Services
The Senior Adult Services program provides a multitude of services
for the community, including medical equipment loan, telephone
reassurance (Telecare), Liquid Nutrition, Focus Hope distribution,
library program for homebound and much more.
Newsletter
The Senior Newsletter is a monthly publication filled with
information on activities, trips and services. Copies are available at
Northville City Hall, Township Hall, District Library, Parks and
Recreation and Community Senior Center or online by
clicking here. You can also receive the
newsletter by mail for $12 per year.
Transportation
Northville senior bus service provides transportation for medical
appointments (receive higher priority), hair appointments, errands, etc.
Service hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00pm.
Passengers must be a Northville or a Northville Township resident, 50
years of age or older or handicapped. The service area will be a
five-mile radius from the Northville Community Senior Center.
Reservations must be made at least two working days in Advance, Monday
through Friday between 9:00am and 11:30am. Requests cannot be accepted
at any other time. Call 248-349-4140. Fee: $3 for one-way trip, $6 for
round trip.

Monthly Mall Shopping
Check monthly newsletter for dates and places. Depart from your home
beginning at 9:30am and return at approximately 2:30pm. Fee is $6.
Resources
The center provides listings of senior housing, home health care,
chore referral, legal aid, and other topics pertaining to senior needs.
Alzheimer Caregiver Support Group
This group will provide an opportunity for caregivers to discuss how
their lives have been affected as they help a loved one with Alzheimer’s
disease or related dementia. A safe and supportive environment will be
created so group members can share feelings and coping strategies,
reduce feelings of loneliness and find new meaning, connection and hope.
Group will be held on Tuesdays at 6:30pm. Call the Senior Center for
more information.
