Kidpreneur Camps Ages 5-14

At Kidpreneur, we use it to teach information technology, entrepreneurship and computer programming. Each camper will leave camp with a Kidpreneur T-shirt. No prior experience is needed, unless noted otherwise in description.

Minecraft Camps

Minecraft is more than just a popular game for kids. In Minecraft Camps 1-4, kids will learn about the Minecraft PC edition (which is different from playing on the Pocket and Xbox Edition).

Minecraft 1 Ages 5+

Learn how all the commands work, the different modes & worlds, and apply 5TEAM to the projects. The goal is to apply creativity and technology to build world landmarks, cities and amusement parks to present on the last day.

Minecraft 2 Ages 7+

Learn how to design games on the Kidpreneur server, understand file management, resource packs, skins and more. The goal is to apply Minecraft technology to build arenas and games to present on the last day.

Minecraft 3, 5erver Ages 10+

In Minecraft 5erver Camp, kids will learn to build and design their own Minecraft server to share with families and friends. The goal is to apply game design and technology to present on the last day. Require at least Minecraft 2.

Minecraft 4, Game Design Ages 10+

Learn the game of design process to develop 5pleef, Hunger Games and more on your own Minecraft server. The goal is to apply creativity and game development to build arenas to present on the last day. Require at least Minecraft 3.

Minecraft 5, Python Ages 10+

In Minecraft Python, kids will learn about computer programming and how it applies to kids Minecraft serves. Kids will learn the Python programming language to build plugins to their game. The goal is to apply creativity and coding to modify their Minecraft server. Require at least Minecraft 4.

Coding Camps

Coding 1, Scratch Ages 7 - 10

Introduces campers to the visual programming language M.I.T. Scratch. Campers attending will learn the basic principles behind computer programming and develop simple video games. Each programming lesson builds upon itself and reinforces the basic concepts learned in camp.

Coding 2, Scratch Ages 10 - 14

Introduces campers to the visual programming language M.I.T. Scratch. Campers will learn the basic principles behind computer programming by designing advance video games. Using their knowledge learned over the course, campers will choose one of their games to edit and present on the final day of camp.

Coding 3, Python Ages 10 - 14

Introduces campers to the Python programming language and Pygames. Students will learn Python language, its source code, understand how it applies to GUI and software development and more to design video games. Require at least Coding 2.

Robotics EV3 Camps

Robotics 2 Ages 7 - 10

The camp will use the LEGO EV3 robots to introduce kids to robotics and programming skills. Kids will learn problem solving, complete challenges; apply STEAM education to projects, and work in a team environment, to build and program the robots for a Sumo Challenge.

Robotics 3, Challenger Ages 10- 14

Robotics is becoming one of the most popular technologies used in global competition. The camp will use the LEGO EV3 robots to build and program advance challenges. The goal is to build and program LEGO EV3 robots to complete tasks and on the last day to present.

3D Printing Camp Ages 10 -14

Introduces campers to what it is like to build a 3D model; using the software AutoDesk 123D Design. Through out the week campers will also learn the basics of operating the 3D printer, and Makerbot printing software. Each camper with leave the course with printed models.

Stop Motion Animation Camp Ages 10 -14

Will teach campers tol develop their own idea, storyboard, and demonstrate creative video production. At the end of the camp students will have completed a short stop motion film which they will present at the end of camp.

Web Design Camp Ages 10 - 14

Introduces to professional looking website for any business idea. We'll introduce the fun and simple process of developing a website including site structures, visual design, site development, testing and launching. Kids will select an appropriate business idea, learn the lean startup method to validate their idea and create a business website. Kids will use Wix web technology. The goal is to develop key web designer characteristics including designing, drawing, collaborating.

Computer Building Camp Ages 10 -14

If your little techie wants to learn about building a computer from scratch, then this is the camp for them. The Kidpreneur Computer Building Camp will teach kids about computer parts, how to assembly a desktop computer and installing an operating system and free software. Kids will learn about motherboard, video board, RAM, ROM, Linux 0/8, fans, cases and more. The objective is to assemble a desktop and present their knowledge on the last day of camp.
