|Youth Athletics and Camps
Northville Parks and Recreation offers lacrosse for boys and girls in
1st – 8th grades and all skill levels. Learn the exciting game of
lacrosse with our experienced, professional, coaching staff. All
programs are held at our home field at Millennium Park*, 45769 Six Mile
Road, Northville, 48168. (*unless otherwise noted in our brochure).
Register by February 24, 2017 to play this
register today to ensure placement on our rosters.
2017 our Boy’s program will be managed by our Youth Lacrosse
Coordinator. We will offer combined teams for 3rd & 4th grade, 5th & 6th
grade and 7th & 8th grade players. All registrations will be completed
through the Parks and Recreation online registration. We will play in
the Metro West League and travel to local communities for games. We also
will play in one boy’s tournament for the season. Our coaching staff are
lacrosse players and coaches that have years of experience in skill
development for players and teams at all age levels. No tryouts required
For 2017 our Girl’s program will be managed by
our Youth Lacrosse Coordinator. We will offer combined teams for 3rd &
4th grade, 5th & 6th grade and 7th & 8th grade players. Our coaching
staff are lacrosse players and coaches that have years of experience in
skill development for players and teams at all age levels. We will play
in one girl’s tournament for the season. We are committed to providing a
program that is challenging and fun for our players! No tryouts required
New for 2017 is our program for 1st & 2nd grade
players known as the Team Experience. This program will be available for
registration on March 21, 2017. This will be a combined experience with
limited lacrosse equipment required to participate. This will be a great
place for young players to start their lax career. Save the date and
come back to join us when registration opens!
Equipment Required: Shoulder and elbow pads, boys lacrosse stick,
lacrosse gloves, mouth guard, athletic cup, cleats and approved lacrosse
helmet. Black helmets are encouraged but not required.
Equipment Required: Girl’s lacrosse stick, cleats, mouth guard, lacrosse
eye goggles, cleats.
