How do I register?
Registrations are accepted by online, by mail or in person. Telephone registrations are not accepted. Read more about Registration here.
Registration payment may be made by cash, personal check, or MasterCard, VISA or Discover. To use a personal check, a current driver’s license is required, please write the drivers licence number on the check. Made payable to: Northville Recreation.
Please note we charge a service fee on all credit card transactions at a rate of 2.5%, with a minimum of $1.95.
What are the Northville Parks and Recreation office hours?
The Northville Parks and Recreation office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm, except for Township holidays.
The Northville Community Center Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00am - 4:00pm, except for Township holidays.
Where is the office to register in person?
The Parks and Recreation office is located within the Recreation Center at the rear of Hillside Middle School, 700 W. Baseline on the corner of Eight Mile and Center Street. Parking for our office is accross from the City of Northville water tower. Access to our offices through the Hillside Middle School entrances is NOT available.

The Northville Community Center offices are located at 303 West Main Street, Northville, MI 48167. A larger parking lot is in the back of the builidng (shared with the Libarary), or parking is availalble on the street.
Can I participate if I am not a Northville resident?
Non-residents may participate in Northville Parks and Recreation activities. Non-resident fees for classes are $10 over the listed base price. Non-resident registrations are accepted a minimum of two days after resident registration, allowing Northville residents preference.
What if my child is younger or older than the class description allows?
Generally, our instructors select the age ranges for our classes based on the material taught that is appropriate for that age group. Occasionally, an instructor may allow a child who is close (1-2 months) from the age group listed to participate, however the instructor has total discretion. You may inquire at the Parks and Recreation Department office.
Will my class or activity be held during inclement weather?
Contact the Parks and Recreation weather hotline at 248-449-9951 or check this website at for activity cancellations due to inclement weather. Except in severe weather or power outages, department buildings will remain open for use, but some classes/services may be cancelled.

What is the refund procedure? Program Cancellation Policy
Northville Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel an activity due to low enrollment and will provide a full refund to participants. Participants will have the opportunity to enroll in another activity, if space is available. If an activity is cancelled due inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control, Northville Parks and Recreation will make every effort to reschedule the activity. If a reschedule is not possible, refunds will not be issued. Activity information regarding cancellations and make-ups will be communicated via email.
A refund check or credit card refund will be issued and/or mailed to the household within 3 - 4 weeks of the request. Refudn checks will be mailed directly.
- If Northville Parks & Recreation cancels: Payee will be refunded the full amount
- Participant cancels prior to the beginning of the 1st class: Full amount minus $15 processing fee, and any incurred costs
- Participant cancels after 1st class and before the 2nd scheduled class: 50% of class fee
- Refunds will not be issued for requests made after the second scheduled class.
Please note the following:
- Requests for refunds must be made in writing, or emailed and received by the Parks and Recreaiton Department prior to the beginnning of the second class of the program.
- Fees with ticketed events, concerts, excursions & one-day activities are non-refundable.
- No refunds or reductions will be given for classes missed by participants.
- All check refunds are subjected to a $15.00 administrative fee. Credit card refunds will not be charged an administrative fee. However Credit card refunds do not inlcude refund of the service fee.
- No pro-rated fee once class/activity has begun.
Camp Refund Policy
Refunds for all activities classified as camps must be requested at least 7 days prior to the first day the camp begins in order to receive a full refund, less a $15 processing fee. Requests made with less than 7 days notice will not receive a refund. Northville Parks & Recreation reserves the right to cancel any activity based on insufficient enrollment or other conditions beyond our control.

Our Photo Policy
Enrollment in Parks and Recreaiton Department sponsored programs authorizes Northville Parks and Recreation, its departments, employees and contractors to take your photograph for use in future brochures, flyers, documents, displays, and other publications, websites and on social networking websites. Parks and Recreaiton will not sell, use or authorize others to use such photographs for commercial purposes.
Can I register at the first class?
Registration forms and payment must be received by the Parks and Recreation Department prior to the first class. Some courses allow late registration but we do not pro-rate any of our classes.
How can I find out what team my child is on?
The Youth Soccer and Youth Baseball Programs are administered by volunteer parent organizations. Team roster information can be obtained by contacting the commissioner of your child’s age group for either sport.
